The Food Corporation of India (FCI) has issued a job advertisement for 113 Management Trainee/Manager positions. Candidates with a B.E/B.Tech/Any Degree can apply for this position. About FCI –

The Food Corporation of India was established under the Act of 1964. It is the largest public sector in terms of food grain production. This corporation’s main goal is to support and protect farmers’ lives while also distributing food grains throughout the country for the public distribution system. This corporation’s vision and mission are to provide food grains at a reasonable cost, to produce an efficient product, and to store the food grains for public distribution.

Educational Qualification:

Manager (General/Depot/Movement)

Graduate degree or equivalent from a recognised university with a minimum grade point average of 60%; OR CA/ICWA/CS

     Manager (Accounts)

Associate Membership of

  • The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India; or b) The Institute of Cost Accountants of India; or c) The Institute of Company Secretaries of India OR
  1. Com from a recognized University AND
  • Post Graduate Full-time MBA (Fin) Degree / Diploma of minimum 2 years recognized by UGC/AICTE; or
  • Postgraduate Part-time MBA (Fin) Degree / Diploma (not in the nature of distance education) of at least three years duration recognised by UGC/AICTE; or • Postgraduate MBA (Fin) Degree/Diploma by distance education mode recognised by UGC-AICTE-DEC Joint Committee.

          Manager (Technical)

  • Sc. in Agriculture from a recognised university OR
  • Tech or B.E degree in Food Science from a recognised university/AICTE-approved institution; OR
  • Tech or B.E degree in Food Science & Technology or Food Technology or Food Processing Technology or Food Process Engineering or Food Processing or Food Preservation Technology from a recognised University/AICTE-approved institution.
  • OR
  • Tech. or BE degree in Agricultural Engineering from an AICTE-approved university or institution. OR
  • Tech or B.E degree in Bio-Technology, Industrial Bio-Technology, Bio-Chemical Engineering, or Agricultural Bio-Technology from a recognised university/institution approved by the AICTE;

     Manager (Civil)

A degree in civil engineering from a recognised university or the equivalent is required.

    Manager (Electrical Mechanical)

A degree in Electrical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering from a recognised university or its equivalent is required.

    Manager (Hindi)

  • A Master’s Degree in Hindi from a recognised university or equivalent, with English as a degree subject, is required.

OR

Master’s degree from a recognised university or equivalent in English with Hindi as a degree subject.

OR

Master’s degree from a recognised university or equivalent in any subject, with Hindi and English as degree subjects.

OR

Master’s degree from a recognised university or equivalent in any subject with English medium instruction and Hindi as a degree                     subject.

OR

AND 5 years of terminological work in Hindi and/or translation work from English to Hindi or vice versa, preferably of technical or             scientific literature or Five years of teaching/research writing/journalism in Hindi

Desirable: Understanding of Sanskrit or a modern Indian language.

Experience in administration.

Experience organising Hindi classes or workshops for taking notes and drafting.

        Note:

  • Candidates for the position of Manager (General/ Depot/ Movement/ Accounts/ Technical/ Civil Engineering/ Electrical Mechanical Engineering) will be selected as Management Trainees and will receive six months of training. During the training period, they will only be paid a consolidated stipend of Rs. 40,000/- (forty thousand only) per month.
  • Management Trainees will be considered for absorption as Managers in the IDA pay scale of Rs. 40000 – 140000 after successfully completing a six-month training period. However, there will be no training for Manager (Hindi), and they will be directly appointed as Manager in the IDA Pay scale of Rs. 40000 – 140000.

          Maximum Age: 28 years ((Manager Hindi-35 Years)

        FCI Recruitment Selection Process:

  • Manager (General /Depot /Movement /Accounts /Technical /Civil Engineering/Electrical Mechanical Engineering): – The selection process will include an online test, an interview, and training.
  • Manager (Hindi): – The selection process will include an online test and an interview.

        Application Fees:

  • For General – Rs.800/-
  • Candidates who are SC/ST/PwBD or women are exempt from paying the application fee.
