GAIL (India) Ltd invites online job applications for the position of Executive Trainee in Mechanical/ Instrumentation/ Electrical disciplines via GATE 2023. Only candidates with a B.E/B.Tech qualification and a valid GATE – 2023 score are eligible to apply for this position. Candidates will be shortlisted for Group Discussion and/or Personal Interviews based on their GATE-2023 score. About GAIL:

GAIL Ltd was established in 1984 by the Ministry of Petroleum and Natural Gas. It is one of the largest natural gas pipeline projects in the world. The company initially assigned a responsible for the operation, maintenance, and construction of the Hazira-Vijaypur-Jagdishpur (HVJ) pipeline Project.

Academic Qualifications:

Bachelor of Engineering in a relevant discipline with a minimum of 65% marks.

NOTE: Only candidates who have completed their bachelor’s degree in engineering (including 05 years BE/B.Tech + ME/ MTech integrated dual degree in Engineering) in the year 2022 / candidates who are currently in the final year (2022-2023) of their Engineering Degree course (including 05 years BE/B.Tech + ME/ M Tech integrated dual degree in Engineering) are eligible to apply for the position of Executive Trainee.

Age Limits:

The upper age limit for the position of Executive trainee should be less than 26 years. Age relaxations:

  • 5 years for SC/ST applicants
  • 3 years for candidates from the OBC (NCL).
  • PWD-General: 10 years, PWD-OBC (NCL: 13 years), and PWD-SC/ST: 15 years
  • Others in accordance with government regulations

   GAIL ET Recruitment 2022 Selection Process:

  • Eligible candidates will be required to take the Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) – 2023.
  • Candidates will be shortlisted for Group Discussion and/or Personal Interview for the position of Executive Trainee in the above disciplines based on their GATE-2023 scores and requirements. Please keep in mind that only GATE-2023 scores are valid for this recruitment process. GATE scores from 2022 or earlier are not valid.
