IARI Recruitment 2022 –

– ICAR – The Indian Agricultural Research Institute (IARI) has issued an online recruitment notice for the position of Young Professional/Skilled Worker/Field/Laboratory Staff. Candidates must be at least 45 years old. These positions are open to candidates who have completed their MTech/M.Sc./12th. The detailed eligibility and selection process is described below.

About IARI

I The Indian Agricultural Research Institute (IARI), also known as the Pusa Institute, is India’s national agricultural research, education, and extension organisation. The Pusa Institute takes its name from the Imperial Institute of Agricultural Research, which was founded in Pusa, Bihar, in 1911. It was renamed the Imperial Agricultural Research Institute in 1919, and it was relocated to Delhi in 1936, following a major earthquake in Pusa. The current institute in Delhi is funded and managed by the Indian Council of Agricultural Research (ICAR). The IARI oversaw the research that led to India’s “Green Revolution” in the 1970s.

Educational Qualification:

Young Professional- II

  • Tech. Soil and Water Conservation Engineering/ M.Sc. Water Science and Technology/ Soil Science and Agricultural Chemistry/ Environmental Sciences are required.
  • Desirable: Appropriate for conducting field experiments and laboratory tests Soil/Water Quality Analysis (Physico-Chemical-Micro-Biological), Computer and Statistical Software Knowledge

Skilled Worker/Field/Laboratory Staff:

  • Intermediate/12th/higher secondary in any subject is required. Experience in field experimentation and data collection is preferred.
  • Having good field work/laboratory assistance skills and general computer working knowledge

    Age Limits:

  • 40 years for Young Professionals and Skilled Workers/Field/Laboratory Personnel Total Vacancies: 3

  • Pay Range:

Pay Scale:

Research Associate -Rs 35,000/Month

Rs 18,000/Month for Skilled Worker/Field/Laboratory Staff

2022 IARI Recruitment Process of Selection:

  • The selection process will consist of a written test and an interview. The interview will be held online on August 20, 2022, beginning at 10.30 a.m. Short-listed candidates will be notified via email, along with a link to participate in the interview.
