TNPSC Exams 2022 –
The Tamil Nadu Government has issued job announcements for the positions of Field Surveyor/Draftsman/Surveyor-cum- Assistant Draughtsman/Assistant Director. There are a total of 1100 vacancies for these positions. Candidates with a Diploma/PG Degree in the relevant disciplines are eligible to apply for this position The written examination is used to select candidates. Candidates who are interested and qualified should apply online by August 27, 2022. The eligibility criteria and application procedure are outlined below.
About Tamil Nadu Public Service Commission (TNPSC):
The Indian government established the Public Service Commission in 1923. It is a government department in Tamil Nadu. It is in charge of regulating the recruitment of personnel into the state’s public service. This commission conducts only merit-based hiring.

Qualification in Education:
Field Surveyor:
- A civil engineering diploma from any institute recognised by the All-India Council for Technical Education (or) a National Trade Certificate in the trade of Surveyor awarded by the National Council for Vocational Training (for Surveyor) (or) a Certificate in Army Trade Surveyor (field) issued by the Madras Engineering Group.
Draftsman:
A civil engineering degree from a college or university accepted by the All-India Council for Technical Education (or) a National Trade Certificate in the trade of draughtsman (civil) issued by National Council for Vocational Training (for Draftsmen) (or)
Madras Engineering Group issued a certificate in Army Trade Draftsman (field).
Surveyor/Assistant Draughtsman:
A pass in the Draughtsmanship (Civil) course, conducted by the Government of India, Ministry of Labour, beginning in July 1952: or
Army Trade Draughtsman (Field) certificate issued by the President, Technical Testing Board, Madras Engineering Group and Centre; or
A certificate in Draughtsman (Civil) issued by the Craftsman Training Centre; or a National Trade Certificate of Draftsman (Civil) Trade or Surveyor Trade awarded by the National Council for Training in Vocational Trades, Government of India through Industrial Training Institute, and completion of successful apprenticeship training under the Apprentices Act 1961; and a Diploma in Civil Engineering.

SCs, SC(A)s, STs, MBC/DCs, BC(OBCM)s, BCMs, and all other widows in need: There is no upper age limit.
Others [i.e., candidates who do not belong to the SCs, SC(A)s, STs, MBCs/DCs, BC(OBCM)s, or BCMs]: 32 years

TNPSC 2022 Exam Process of Selection:
The selection process will consist of two stages: an objective test and an oral exam. The selection process will consist of two stages: (1) an examination (Computer Based Test Method) and (2) an oral test in the form of an interview. Subject to the reservation of appointments rule, the final selection will be based on the total marks obtained by the applicants at the CBT examination and oral test taken together.
